We offer travel vaccinations at the surgery.
Please contact the surgery at least 6 to 8 weeks before your planned travel date. Some vaccines need to be given well in advance to allow your body to develop immunity and some involve a number of doses spread over several weeks.
When you contact us, you will be asked a number of questions about your travel arrangements. This information will be sent through to Debbie, our Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Debbie will then review your travel information and will contact you to discuss the vaccinations you require and to arrange your appointment.
Please note that not all travel vaccinations are free; for more details please refer to our website https://www.greatstaughtonsurgery.nhs.uk/clinics-and-services/non-nhs-services/
If for any reason we are not able to offer you the necessary travel vaccinations, then you will be referred to the Travel Clinic at Loves Farm pharmacy.
